BMC WW2 Secret Stronghold - 36pc Plastic Army Men German Bunker Playset
From the BMC Toys AMERICAN HERO COLLECTOR SERIES, part of the greatest invasion in military history: The D-DAY+ SECRET STRONGHOLD 36 piece plastic army men playset includes a 3-in-1 Bunker Building, 11 American GIs in od green, 10 German Soldiers in charcoal black, 2 Flak 37 Guns, 2 Ladders, 2 Flags, 2 Rock Formations, 1 Mortar, 1 Barbed Wire Fence section, and 4 Sandbag Stacks. The building can be configured as a German Bunker, US Army Base, or German Artillery Casemate. The signs are reversible with German markings on one side and US Army signs on the other. The roof hatch covers double as supply shelves and the walls can be used separately as a ruined building or flipped upside down for the artillery casemate configuration. The building includes 2 working doors that feature reversible sides with steel or wood texture. All pieces are about 1:32nd scale and made from fairly stiff, very durable, polypropylene plastic with medium detail and very little flashing. Figures stand up to 2.45 inches tall. The bunker measures 13 x 9 x 3.75 inches tall. The Flak Guns measures 5.75 inches long. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic style of the 1950s and 1960s. The US Soldier figures were adapted from original designs of fine metal miniatures officially licensed by King & Country. Packaged in a shoe box size retail box that includes story of the lost Grandcamp-Maisy Battery and recommended for ages 5 and up.
