BMC Toys Production Roundup: December 2025

Posted by Jeff Imel on

BMC Toys - Classic Toy Soldiers Collection:
Almost everything is still well stocked with more restocks arriving around late December. I'll be getting back into the development of the Battles of Bull Run set. A wagon driver and limber rider mold needs to be made. Classic Toy Soldiers is getting ready to move their warehouse and found some unmade sculpts, including these South Korean Winter Dress troops that I may fast track into development:

BMC Toys - American Hero Collection:
Most items are well stocked into early 2026. BMC-40024 WW2 D-Day Figures restocks are arriving late December. Battle of Brandywine and Tank Battle may run low and restocks won't arrive until next production order arrives around the Spring of 2026. I have a few projects in mind for 2026 and will be evaluating which ones to move forward with after the holiday season.

BMC Toys - Classic Army Men Collection:
I'm working on box art for the Fort Ticonderoga and Pacific Theater sets as well as history story inserts.  I decided to revise the contents of the Louis Marx & Co. Military Base Accessories. The new 32pc versions will include a single set of the HQ Office accessories. I'm also making the HQ accessories available as a separate parts pack. OD green and blue color variants are in production and should be available along with the new blue color variant of the Lido Soldiers Mid-December. The 1:40 scale western figures will probably arrive around January:

  • Looking forward to any updates about the South Korean soldiers that you guys found hopefully we can a quick update about their development soon and I think the color should be the same as the United States Marines because they wore the same colored outfits as them during the war.

  • I wish this place had the molds to matchbox toy soldiers. But I would like more Marx toy soldier molds particularly if they could be made in the USA
